The Director, Susan Henning, has a passion for kids! She holds a B.S. in Music from Illinois State University and has been a professional singer and actress for many years in a wide range of productions and venues including film, TV, musical theatre and opera. Teaching Kindermusik since 1999, Susan is a Maestro instructor, recognized by Kindermusik International as owning one of the top 5% producing Kindermusik studios worldwide. Susan is a faculty member at the College of Lake County where she teaches "Music Activities for Young Children" to prospective early childhood educators. Additionally, Susan directs the 20+ voice Senior High Choir at the First Presbyterian Church of Libertyville.

Music has always been a vital part of Julie Brouton’s life. She has worked with children in a volunteer capacity through church and community theatre since she was in high school, and has recently started working on earning her certificate in Early Childhood Education. Kindermusik allows her to meld her love for children and her passion for music into a career.
