Imagine That!
“Toys I Make, Trips I Take”

For Ages 3 and 4 attending alone

Imagine That enhances your child’s learning through music, singing, movement, literature, instrument exploration and imagination. With music as the common thread, each lesson allows your child to reflect, compare, make choices, express opinions and engage in problem-solving activities. Each week your preschooler will grow by leaps, skips, and hops in this fun-filled journey of the imagination. In this unit, one of 4 for this age group, we’ll build a pretend toy shop filled with boats, trains, balls, jack-in-the-boxes and many other exciting toys, then take make-believe trips over oceans and mountains—singing together all the while. Your preschooler will love telling stories and developing rhythm and abstract thinking skills by playing the Kindermusik drum. Musical activities featuring favorite tunes and new multi-cultural songs will celebrate your child’s ideas and build confidence and self-sufficiency too. Children play and learn with the instructor for the first part of each lesson, and caregivers come in at the end for Family Sharing Time. So the class also helps prepare your preschooler—and you!—for the transition to kindergarten. Children attend alone for the first 30-35 minutes. Grown-ups join the last 10-15 minutes of class for “Family Time” (any waiting siblings may join at this time, also)

Required home materialsinclude 2 full-length home CDs, drum, 2 story books, manipulative playset, and a home activity book.
Tuition $155*, Home materials $56 for continuing IT students, $62 for new IT students.
